BARNABY JONES – EGAPL Heart of RI

We are OBSESSED with Barnaby’s new headshot. If this doesn’t get him adopted, we don’t know what will. Our velvet eared hunk can’t wait to meet his new family. He is another VERY long term resident that is patiently waiting in a cage. He is a handsome, 2 year old, male, Bloodhound mixed breed. Barnaby Jones is the face of resilience and we REALLY need your help finding him a forever home. Barnaby requires a dog savvy family with experience. He is good with other dogs (pending a successful meet and greet) but would prefer a home without cats. His ideal home would not have children under 12 (he’s a big guy and we don’t want him knocking your kids over when he runs in slow motion like a Bay Watch actor). He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience.

JACKSON

Meet Jackson, a long term resident dreaming of a family. He has been waiting far too long for someone to take him home. We're so sad that he has spent so long in a cage and we NEED to find him his happy ending. Jackson was born on 12/30/21 and is a Pit Bull mix. He was adopted into a home with another dog (after a successful meet and greet) but unfortunately had trouble sharing. He is not aggressive with other dogs but we believe his ideal home would not have other animals. We want to set him up for success! He's a big guy that needs a home with plenty of space to stretch his legs and play. He does well on a leash and likes going for walks. He's also VERY happy cuddling on the couch binging your favorite shows with you. He is smart and is eager to learn and explore. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

LITTERBUG

Litterbug is looking for a foster or forever home. He was born on 12/2/23 and is a male, Bull Dog mixed breed. This handsome boy is active and loves to run and play with his toys. He is extremely smart and is a very fast learner. He walks well on a leash and loves to explore. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

ROSIE

Rosie has been waiting over 600 DAYS for a forever home. She is the longest resident we have EVER had and we REALLY need your help finding her the happy ending she deserves. We have been working on her exposure to other dogs in the hopes that she will be able to go on walks and see other dogs without getting upset. She has been making great progress and has ben great walking across the street from other dogs. Her ideal home would still be one without other animals to make it an easier transition with less stress. She is a stunning, 2.5 year old, female, Pit Bull mixed breed. She loves to play in our backyard and enjoys laying in the sun. She does well on a leash and has always done well with her crate training. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

She is a stunning, 2.5 year old, female, Pit Bull mixed breed. She loves to play in our backyard and enjoys laying in the sun. She does well on a leash and is working on her house training. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.
