Dogs

Tonka and Trooper are the newest members of our pack and they can't wait to meet you. These adorable siblings are looking for individual forever homes. They are 4 month old, male, mixed breed puppies. They are up to date on vaccinations and have both been neutered. 

Rosie has been waiting over 600 DAYS for a forever home. She is the longest resident we have EVER had and we REALLY need your help finding her the happy ending she deserves. We have been working on her exposure to other dogs in the hopes that she will be able to go on walks and see other dogs without getting upset. She has been making great progress and has ben great walking across the street from other dogs. Her ideal home would still be one without other animals to make it an easier transition with less stress. She is a stunning, 2.5 year old, female, Pit Bull mixed breed. She loves to play in our backyard and enjoys laying in the sun. She does well on a leash and has always done well with her crate training. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

Jed is looking for his "Jethro" (his "brother from another mother"). He is the last puppy of his litter and we have NO IDEA why. He was lucky enough to land himself in a temporary foster home while he waits but he desperately needs a forever home. His amazing foster family is teaching, working on his training, and exposing him to new things. He really thrives on companionship. He is looking for a family with another dog that can show him the ropes, let him decompress after a long shelter stay, and build his confidence. He is a 10 month old, male, Hound/Great Pyrenees mix. He can be shy initially but once he knows you he will show you exactly why we all love him so much. Jed is extremely sweet and affectionate. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Miranda is a very sweet but shy pup looking for love in RI. She is a 1 year old, female, Pit Bull mixed breed. She has a LOT of love to give and will absolutely be worth the effort to get her to trust you. She is always down for a good cuddle session and will make an excellent binge watching buddy. She needs a home with a fully fenced in back yard and without children under 12. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. 

Mikey is a 1 year old, male, Pit Bull mixed breed. He can be a little shy initially but is a VERY lovable dog once he feels safe. He is a happy and very sweet boy looking for a forever home.  He requires a home with a fully fenced in back yard in a family without children under 12. He will need people willing to understand that the transition from shelter dog to family pet might take a bit but will be SO worth it. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Our velvet eared hunk, Barnaby Jones, is STILL waiting for his happy ending. We PROMISED him we would get him a home soon. He is another long term resident that is patiently waiting for the right family to pick him. He is a handsome, 2 year old, male, Bloodhound mixed breed. This dog is the face of resilience and we REALLY need your help finding him a forever home. Barnaby requires a dog savvy family with experience. He just spent his 2nd birthday in a cage and our hearts are breaking for him. He is good with other dogs (pending a successful meet and greet) but would prefer a home without cats. His ideal home would not have children under 12 or cats. He’s a very good boy that just needs a chance. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Parker and Porter are bonded brothers (as you can see by looking at their photo) looking for a forever home together. They are 5 year old, male, Hound mixed breed dogs. They both do well on a leash and love to explore. They need a little time to warm up to new people but it's nothing a few treats can't fix. They just need someone willing to give them a chance. Their ideal home would on the quiet side without other dogs so they can decompress and adjust to life out of the shelter. They are going to be SO worth the effort.  Scallywag is a great guy that is looking for a particular family. He requires an adult only home without other pets. He is looking for experienced, dog savvy owners to work on his jumping. He is a 3 year old, male, Labradoodle. He is an energetic dog that needs a lot of exercise. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. Come in and meet him!

There's no place like home and Ruby is still waiting for hers. She waits patiently, day after day, clicking her heels and hoping a family will come soon. We're so sad that he has spent so long in a cage and we NEED to find him his happy ending. Jackson was born on 12/30/21 and is a Pit Bull mix. He was adopted into a home with another dog (after a successful meet and greet) but unfortunately had trouble sharing. He is not aggressive with other dogs but we believe his ideal home would not have other animals. We want to set him up for success! He's a big guy that needs a home with plenty of space to stretch his legs and play. He does well on a leash and likes going for walks. He's also VERY happy cuddling on the couch binging your favorite shows with you. He is smart and is eager to learn and explore.  He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Looking for a best friend? Shutterbug is your guy! He was born on 12/3/23 and is a male, Bull Dog mixed breed. He is looking for a home without other animals. He loves to play with his toys and enjoys a good zoomie session. He is a great cuddle buddy and will definitely like binge watching your favorite show with you on a rainy day. Shutterbug is a smart boy and a very fast learner. He walks well on a leash and loves to explore. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
