Foster Homes
Fostering animals provides socialization, house-training, and comfort for our pets while they wait for their forever homes. We are always looking for foster parents. Our fostering needs range from pregnant or nursing moms with kittens or puppies, kittens or puppies on their own, or adult animals. We will continue to cover the costs of medical needs, food, and other supplies for all foster pets while they are under your care. Please note: foster families will be asked to transport their foster pets to adoption hours every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday’s 10am-2pm and to veterinary appointments if needed.
All interested foster parents will be asked to complete a dog or cat adoption application. You can fill out an application by coming in during adoption hours (Wednesday 3-7pm or Saturday 10am-2pm) at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI 02920. You may also request one by e-mailing our Adoption Coordinator at HeartofRIadoption@gmail.com Please note that you must still come during adoption hours to meet with our adoption team for an application to be submitted for review.
Fostering a pet is a temporary situation that can range from one night to several months, depending on when a pet is ready for adoption.
