GOOSE

GOOSE

Meet Goose. Can you imagine waking up to this face everyday? That can be your reality if you come in to meet him & apply. He is a 9 month old, male, English Pointer mixed breed. He is extremely sweet, likes everyone he meets, and is not cut out for rescue life. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
BLONDIE

BLONDIE

Meet Blondie. She just turned 1 and we were heartbroken that we couldn’t give her the only gift she asked for: a forever home. She should be celebrating milestones surrounded by a loving family, but instead, she spent it in a kennel. Our staff is absolutely amazing and our volunteer team gets her out for long walks and play time but the rescue is not a home. Blondie is a gorgeous, female, Lab mix. She is happiest anytime she’s running in the yard or soaking up affection from people she trusts. An active household would be perfect for her fun puppy energy. She is also a big fan of long naps and a good cuddle session. She gets along well with other dogs (pending a successful meet and greet) but has not been cat tested yet. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.
SHIRL SHIRL

SHIRL SHIRL

Meet Shirl Shirl. If you can believe it, she is even cuter in person. Her story absolutely broke our hearts and we promised her that we would find a quiet, animal and children free foster or forever home as fast as possible. She is a 12 year old, female, micro Bully mixed breed. She came in as an owner surrender and we believe she was previously used by a backyard breeder. Shirl needs some medical TLC to address skin, eye, and ear issues. She also needs to be spayed. The amazing team at We're Here for The Dogs helped us raise $1,000 to address those concerns. We would love Shirl to recover and decompress outside of the rescue. We know a home without other animals or children will be harder to find so we really need your help. This sweet senior deserves to feel safe, healthy, and pain free in her golden years. Despite all that she has been through, she is still a very sweet dog with a lot of love to give. Stop in during adoption hours to meet Shirl if you fit the requirements she has for a foster or forever home.
ROSEMARY

ROSEMARY

Rosemary is STILL waiting for a forever home. She turned 1 on 5/15 and she is a Lab mixed breed. She has been thriving in her foster home. She has become much more confident, has learned several new commands, has mastered potty training, and has even started to approach new people on her own. Fostering really saves & CHANGES lives! She would love a home with another dog (pending a successful meet and greet) and has had no issues with living with cats. She requires a home without children with a fully fenced in back yard so she can explore and play safely. Once she feels safe, she will shower you with tail wags, sloppy kisses, and her favorite thing of all—snuggles. She is very sweet and loves to play.  She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.  Rosemary just needs someone willing to take a chance on her, give her a little patience, and to continue to teach her. Come and meet her during adoption hours. She will be the best choice you'll ever make.
THE “DECADENT DESSERT” PUPPIES

THE “DECADENT DESSERT” PUPPIES

If you have a sweet tooth, you are going to LOVE the "Decadent Dessert" puppies. This litter is ready to sweeten your life and is 100% sugar free. What could be better?! They were born on 1/29/25 and are a mixed breed. They are up to date on vaccinations. Please help us spread the word so they can start their next chapter outside of the rescue.
THYME

THYME

Meet Thyme. He turned 1 on 5/15/24 and is a Lab mixed breed. We are heartbroken that he spent his 1st birthday in a cage instead of in a forever home. We really need help finding him a family. Some dogs do a lot better than others in a shelter setting but this poor guy is really struggling. His siblings are both thriving in foster homes and he would really love a break from the noise. Please consider changing his life by coming in to apply to foster or adopt him. Thyme is a very affectionate boy once he knows you and feels safe. His new family will need to have patience with him while he adjusts to life outside of the shelter. He requires a home with a fully fenced in yard so he can play and explore safely. He will be SO worth the time and effort and is going to make an amazing best friend. He would love a home with another dog (pending a successful meet and greet) and we think it would definitely help with his confidence He is up to date on vaccinations.
PARKER AND PORTER

PARKER AND PORTER

Meet Parker & Porter. These bonded brothers are looking for a forever home together. They have been waiting SO LONG for the right people to give them a chance. We are begging you to read their bio, share their posts, and help us get them out of cages. They are looking for a family without others animals or children. Parker & Porter were born on 12/18/18 and are a very handsome Hound mixed breed. They both do well on a leash and really enjoy walking around the neighborhood with our volunteers. They are regulars at Olympia Fitness and look forward to pressing their noses up to the glass and saying hello. These boys have been through a lot. They need a little time to warm up initially but it’s nothing the right people can’t fix with a little love and patience. We promise that they are going to be worth the time & effort for the right adopter. They are up to date on vaccinations and have been neutered.
DAPHNE

DAPHNE

Daphne is a VERY good girl that is dreaming of her forever home. She has spent far too long waiting for someone to see how special she is. She was born on 1/21/21 and is a Lab mix. A cozy spot on the couch, daily walks, and the chance to simply be by your side is all that she has ever wanted. She does well on a leash and will never pass up the chance to stop and smell the flowers. She will absolutely remind you to slow down and see the beauty in the little things. She is up to date on vaccinations and is very ready to start the next chapter of her life. Come meet her, look into her eyes, and you will understand exactly why we’re rooting for her.
HUGO

HUGO

Hugo is doing his best to hang in there while he waits for a foster or forever home. He needs a hero and he really needs it fast! Please read the entire post to understand his situation: If you have been following us you know that Hugo is one of the longest residents we have EVER had and has waited over a YEAR for the right forever home. Hugo was born on 8/7/20 and is a large mixed breed. He needs a VERY particular adopter. He is looking for a single female home only. Unfortunately, he cannot under any circumstance be placed in a home with men (he has been ok with men in passing and did well at a Santa photoshoot). The reason we are requiring a single female home is because Hugo has had issues bonding with one human instead of both. We are trying to remove ANY issue possible to keep Hugo from being returned again. We think this is unfortunately a non-negotiable for him. He also requires a home without other animals or children. We realize that such a specific home is way harder to come by and that is why we are begging for help networking him so the right person hopefully sees his plea for help. With all that said, Hugo is really a good dog who just needs to find the right person for him. Our team is 90% female and everyone that knows or has worked with Hugo here adores him. Going on adventures is one of his favorite things—long walks, car rides, and exploring new & quiet places make him the happiest. He does well on a leash and is a very smart dog. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations and has been neutered.
“THE GIRLS”: Ocean, Pebbles, Twig, Lavender, & Crystal

“THE GIRLS”: Ocean, Pebbles, Twig, Lavender, & Crystal

Meet "The Girls". These sisters are 5 months old and are a mixed breed. We promised them that their families would be coming for them soon. Please help us spread the word and get them out of kennels and into forever homes. Ocean (brown coat), Pebbles (brown coat, black muzzle), Twig (black coat), Lavender (brown/red coat, black muzzle), and Crystal (black coat) really have it all. They are stunning and their individual personalities are just as amazing. We don't know how big they will be or the breeds they are mixed with but we do know what amazing companions they are going to be for 5 lucky families. Our entire staff and volunteer team can’t get enough of these puppies. So, what are you waiting for? Come in during adoption hours to meet your new best friend. They are all up to date on vaccinations.
MIRA

MIRA

Meet Mira. DOB: 4/17/23. Breed: Pit Bull mix. Requirements: A home with women only and without children under 12. Mira’s family has made the very difficult decision to re-home her, and while we understand that situations like this can be emotional, we will not tolerate negativity or judgment. They have spent the past year giving her time to adjust, but despite their best efforts, she continues to struggle with fear of men, particularly the father in the home. This has created a stressful environment for everyone involved, and finding her the right home is the most compassionate choice for her Mira.  Mira LOVES women and when she feels safe she is extremely affectionate. With patience and understanding, she will form a strong bond and become a deeply loyal companion. She loves to play but loves hanging on the couch just as much. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. If you are a fit and can provide her with the stability she needs, please consider giving her a chance.
SAGE

SAGE

Sage can't wait to find a forever home! She will be 1 on May 15th and she is a very smart, female, Lab mixed breed. She was lucky enough to find an amazing foster home where she is getting the chance to decompress and has been working on her confidence. *Please note: Sage is only on site Saturday’s 10am-2pm.* Although she is very timid initially, her foster mom raves about what a silly, sweet, and affectionate dog she is. She has been learning basic commands, has already mastered crate training, and has not had a single accident. She loves other dogs and her ideal home would absolutely have fur siblings for her to play with. Sage will thrive in an active home where she can get her daily zoomies out and play fetch. A fully fenced in yard is highly recommended. She is up to date on vaccinations and is SO ready to begin the next chapter of her life. If you’re willing to invest a little time to gain her trust, she will reward you with endless love.
