Meet Jadore! This purr-fect kitten lives up to her name and will have you falling in love immediately. She is 4 month old, female, Domestic Short Hair mixed breed looking for love in RI. Jadore has an absolutely gorgeous white coat and she can’t wait to find her forever home. She is up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and is going to make an adorable addition to one lucky family. 

Robin is a stunning new mom that is ready for her forever home. After having 6 healthy puppies she can't wait for some pampering and time to herself. She is a 4 year old, female, Pit Bull mixed breed. She is up to date on vaccinations.

Meet Jackson, a VERY long term resident, DREAMING of a family. He has been waiting MONTHS for someone to pick him and we are heartbroken that he is still here. Jackson turned 3 years old on December 30th and despite our AMAZING staff/volunteer team spoiling him, he spent the day without a home. Jackson is a handsome Pit Bull mixed breed. He was adopted into a home with another dog (after a successful meet and greet on site)  but unfortunately the dogs had trouble sharing. He is not aggressive with other dogs but we believe his ideal home would not have other animals. We want to set him up for success! He's a big boy that needs a home with plenty of space to stretch his legs and play. He does well on a leash and likes going for walks. He's also VERY happy cuddling on the couch. He is smart and is eager to learn. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. 

Hugo is STILL looking for an immediate foster or forever home. He is one of our longest residents. He asked Santa for a forever home but unfortunately no one came for him. Hugo is a 3.5 year old, male, mixed breed. He is a happy and big boy that is looking for a family without children or other pets so he can soak up all of your attention. His ideal home would preferably not have men (he did well with Santa but men typically stress him out). This ladies man likes going on long walks and loves exploring outside. He does well on a leash, likes going for car rides, and enjoys any time outside of a kennel. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations and has been neutered.

Parker and Porter are bonded brothers (as you can see by looking at their photos) looking for a forever home together. They have been waiting MONTHS for a family. These boys are 5 year old and are a Hound mixed breed dogs. They both do well on a leash and love to explore. They need a little time to warm up to new people but it's nothing a few treats can't fix. They just need someone willing to give them a chance. Their ideal home would on the quiet side without other dogs so they can decompress and adjust to life out of the shelter. They are going to be SO worth the time & effort to gain their trust. They are up to date on vaccinations and have been neutered.

He is looking for a home without children under 12. He likes to play and explore. He is over rescue life and can’t wait for a family to love. He is up to date on vaccinations.

Add some spice to your life with our puppies! Rosemary (female, featured photo), Thyme (male), and Sage (female) are 7 months old and are a lovely Lab mixed breed. None of them have done too well adjusting to life at the rescue and they REALLY need forever homes ASAP. Rosemary was lucky enough to find an amazing foster family that is allowing her time to decompress. All 3 puppies require families with patience because they can be very fearful of new people and places. However, once you gain their trust, prepare yourself for LOTS of sloppy kisses. They love playing with their toys & other dogs (pending a successful meet and greet) but they are just as happy with an afternoon cuddle session. Rosemary specifically has been working on her leash skills and is gaining confidence with her foster sister by her side. She is learning potty training and working on commands. An adopter with another dog sibling would be ideal for all 3 of puppies. Rosemary, Thyme, and Sage (female) are amazing puppies that have SO much love to give! They are up to date on vaccinations. Blondie is looking for love in RI. She is a 7 month old, female, Lab mixed breed. She has a lot of fun puppy energy but is always down for a good cuddle session. She loves being the center of attention and with that gorgeous face, who could blame her? She is up to date on all vaccinations and has been spayed.

Introducing DEXTER. He is a 10 month old, male, Australian Cattle mixed breed. He is a very happy and handsome boy with a big personality. We dont have a single photo where he isn't smiling, even in a shelter setting. Nothing will dull his sparkle! He is sweet and very affectionate. He loves playing with his toys and enjoys a good zoomie session in our backyard. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. Stop in to meet your new best friend. You won't regret it!

Unfortunately, Jed’s forever didn’t work out and he is back at the rescue. This poor guy can’t catch a break. He watched all of his siblings get adopted and has spent most of his young life in a cage. He is a 1 year old, male, Hound/Great Pyrenees mix. He really thrives on companionship and loves being with people. He is looking for a family with another young, active dog that can show him the ropes and build his confidence. He can be shy initially but once he knows you he will show you exactly why we all love him so much. Jed is extremely sweet and affectionate. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Scallywag is a great guy that is looking for a particular family. He requires an adult only home without other pets. He is looking for experienced, dog savvy owners to work on his jumping and continue his training. He is a 3 year old, male, Labradoodle. He is an energetic dog that needs a lot of exercise. Meet Barnaby. Everyone on our team is OBSESSED with this velvet eared hunk. He is a VERY long term resident looking for a foster or forever home for the Holidays. He is looking for an adult only home without other animals. Barnaby is a handsome, 2 year old, male, Bloodhound mixed breed. He requires a dog savvy family with experience with his breed. Sadly, he spent his 2nd birthday in a cage and our hearts are breaking for him the longer he waits to be adopted. He’s a very good boy that just needs to find the right people for him. Meet Izzy. We know you will love her as much as we do! She is 6 months old and is a Terrier mix. She loves meeting new people and does well with children (please note: we always do everything with children on a case by case basis and want to ensure a perfect fit for your entire family). She is happiest curled up on your lap and thrives on companionship. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.

Shutterbug is a 1 year old, male, Bulldog mix who has spent FAR too long waiting for his chance at a forever home. It’s really hard to understand why this bright, affectionate pup is still in the shelter. Growing up in a cage is no life for any dog, especially one that loves people as much as Shutterbug. This clever boy is sharp, easily picks up new skills, and is eager to please. He’s a pro on a leash and loves exploring. While Shutterbug has shown he can be selective with some dogs, a few meet-and-greets can help ensure a smooth transition and a perfect fit if you have other dogs at home. Fully vaccinated, neutered, and ready for his happy ending, Shutterbug deserves a life beyond the shelter walls. Autumn (female) and Pumpkin (male) are a bonded pair that are looking for a home together. They are both 4 years old and are Domestic Short Hair cats. Autumn has a gorgeous Torti coat and Pumpkin has a handsome orange coat and electric eyes. They can be a little shy initially but they are extremely sweet. They are settling in at the rescue and are coming out of their shell. They definitely find comfort in being together and we know they will bring a lot of joy to their new family.
