Meet Jackson, a VERY long term resident, DREAMING of a family. He has been waiting MONTHS for someone to pick him and we are heartbroken that he is still here. Jackson turned 3 years old on December 30th and despite our AMAZING staff/volunteer team spoiling him, he spent the day without a home. Jackson is a handsome Pit Bull mixed breed. He was adopted into a home with another dog (after a successful meet and greet on site)  but unfortunately the dogs had trouble sharing. He is not aggressive with other dogs but we believe his ideal home would not have other animals. We want to set him up for success! He's a big boy that needs a home with plenty of space to stretch his legs and play. He does well on a leash and likes going for walks. He's also VERY happy cuddling on the couch. He is smart and is eager to learn. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. 

Hugo is STILL looking for an immediate foster or forever home. He is one of our longest residents. He asked Santa for a forever home but unfortunately no one came for him. Hugo is a 3.5 year old, male, mixed breed. He is a happy and big boy that is looking for a family without children or other pets so he can soak up all of your attention. His ideal home would preferably not have men (he did well with Santa but men typically stress him out). This ladies man likes going on long walks and loves exploring outside. He does well on a leash, likes going for car rides, and enjoys any time outside of a kennel. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations and has been neutered.

Parker and Porter are bonded brothers (as you can see by looking at their photos) looking for a forever home together. They have been waiting MONTHS for a family. These boys are 5 year old and are a Hound mixed breed dogs. They both do well on a leash and love to explore. They need a little time to warm up to new people but it's nothing a few treats can't fix. They just need someone willing to give them a chance. Their ideal home would on the quiet side without other dogs so they can decompress and adjust to life out of the shelter. They are going to be SO worth the time & effort to gain their trust. They are up to date on vaccinations and have been neutered.

Add some spice to your life with our puppies! Rosemary (female, featured photo), Thyme (male), and Sage (female) are 7 months old and are a lovely Lab mixed breed. None of them have done too well adjusting to life at the rescue and they REALLY need forever homes ASAP. Rosemary was lucky enough to find an amazing foster family that is allowing her time to decompress. All 3 puppies require families with patience because they can be very fearful of new people and places. However, once you gain their trust, prepare yourself for LOTS of sloppy kisses. They love playing with their toys & other dogs (pending a successful meet and greet) but they are just as happy with an afternoon cuddle session. Rosemary specifically has been working on her leash skills and is gaining confidence with her foster sister by her side. She is learning potty training and working on commands. An adopter with another dog sibling would be ideal for all 3 of puppies. Rosemary, Thyme, and Sage (female) are amazing puppies that have SO much love to give! They are up to date on vaccinations. Blondie is looking for love in RI. She is a 7 month old, female, Lab mixed breed. She has a lot of fun puppy energy but is always down for a good cuddle session. She loves being the center of attention and with that gorgeous face, who could blame her? She is up to date on all vaccinations and has been spayed.

Introducing DEXTER. He is a 10 month old, male, Australian Cattle mixed breed. He is a very happy and handsome boy with a big personality. We dont have a single photo where he isn't smiling, even in a shelter setting. Nothing will dull his sparkle! He is sweet and very affectionate. He loves playing with his toys and enjoys a good zoomie session in our backyard. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. Stop in to meet your new best friend. You won't regret it!

Unfortunately, Jed’s forever didn’t work out and he is back at the rescue. This poor guy can’t catch a break. He watched all of his siblings get adopted and has spent most of his young life in a cage. He is a 1 year old, male, Hound/Great Pyrenees mix. He really thrives on companionship and loves being with people. He is looking for a family with another young, active dog that can show him the ropes and build his confidence. He can be shy initially but once he knows you he will show you exactly why we all love him so much. Jed is extremely sweet and affectionate. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
