Meet Sage. She is a 1 year old, female, Lab mix. She has been waiting far too long for a foster or forever home. She is desperate for a break from the noise at the rescue and time to decompress after a very long shelter stay. We know that Sage appears extremely nervous during adoption hours, but PLEASE don’t let that deter you from taking the time to get to know her. The videos we have of her outside in a quiet, safe, familiar space show her true personality and potential. She is playful, affectionate, and full of love. Sage’s ideal home will meet these requirements so she can play and explore safely.
– A 6ft fully fenced in yard (this is a safety requirement).
– A dog in the home who can show her the ropes.
– A patient, dog-savvy adopter willing to give her the time she needs to settle in.

She’s already crate trained, knows basic commands, and does well on a leash. She LOVES other dogs and is happiest when she has a canine buddy to zoom around the yard with or curl up next to after playtime. Sage is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.
