PRISS

PRISS WOULD LIKE TO RETIRE PROPERLY AND VERY SOON!  Unfortunately, Priss experienced the kind of loss that no dog should have to understand. Her owner passed away. After spending her entire life as someone’s beloved pet, suddenly everything she knew was gone.
Her person.
Her home.
Her routine.
Her whole little world.
And somehow, at 13 years old, Priss found herself starting over.
Which, frankly, is unacceptable and heartbreaking.
We have reviewed the paperwork. We have consulted management. We have checked the bylaws. And nowhere does it say that a 13 year old good girl who has spent her entire life being loved should suddenly have to figure out where she belongs.
Her benefits package should now include:
• One very comfortable bed
• Several comfortable backup beds
• Leisurely walks
• Beach trips
• Snacks distributed at reasonable intervals
• Someone nearby to tell her she is beautiful
• Absolutely no major life upheavals ever again
That is the retirement plan. We do not feel this is excessive. Especially because Priss has arrived at retirement with an extremely impressive résumé.
Potty trained? Yes.
Walks nicely on leash? Absolutely.
Dogs? She gets along beautifully with them.
Cats? Also, yes.
The beach? Big fan.
Creating unnecessary household drama?
Priss would prefer not to be involved.
She has seen enough.
Please remove her from the group chat.
Priss is not looking to launch a second career.
She does not need to climb mountains.
She is not requesting skydiving lessons.
She has no interest in becoming an influencer.
She would simply like a peaceful home, a comfortable place to rest and a person to sit beside.
That is it.
That is the entire Priss agenda.
