NORA IS NOT ANTISOCIAL. SHE’S JUST VERY SELECTIVE ABOUT HER SOCIAL CALENDAR.

Strangers? She’ll need a minute. Belly rubs? Once you’re approved, absolutely. Long walks around the neighborhood? She’s going to have to decline. She has a prior commitment to a patch of sunshine in the backyard.

Nora is our sweet, shy little wallflower who takes her time getting comfortable. She loves other dogs, enjoys peaceful afternoons outdoors, and has a surprisingly strict belly rub policy once you’ve earned her trust.

Nora will thrive in a quieter home without children under 8 with a fenced in yard where she can safely play, enjoy the sunshine, and settle in at her own pace.

Nora also has a mild deformity in one back foot, likely from an old injury. Her little foot curls almost like a bird’s claw, but it doesn’t bother her or keep her from enjoying life. There’s something incredibly special about watching a shy dog begin to trust. The first time she relaxes beside you. The first belly rub. The moment she stops wondering if she’s safe.

Nora deserves a lifetime of those moments. She’s not looking for someone to bring her out of her shell overnight. Just someone who makes her feel like she never has to hide in it again.
