Meet Monty. He is a young, goofy sweetheart from Texas who is still very much figuring out this whole being a dog in a big world thing. He was found as a stray with his best friend Magnolia, who has since been adopted. He has already been through more uncertainty than any sweet boy should, but somehow Monty has kept his soft heart, happy attitude, and extremely lovable personality fully intact.
Monty is dog friendly, playful, and wonderfully sweet with people. He walks well on leash, which is very impressive considering he also has big puppy energy and the occasional “new thing, who dis?” moment. Vet clinics, car rides, and crates can make him a little unsure at first, but with a bit of encouragement, Monty bravely decides that maybe the scary thing is actually fine and perhaps even comes with snacks. He is friendly, silly, and eager to learn, basically a big goofy puppy in young-adult packaging. Monty is ready for his second chance, a soft place to land, and a family who will help him discover that life can be full of love, toys, treats, and absolutely no surprise pop quizzes.
