There are kittens who enter a room quietly. There are kittens who cautiously assess their surroundings. And then there is Molly Shannon, who appears to have spent her entire life waiting for someone to yell: “AND… ACTION.” 🎬

JUST LOOK AT HER. That is not the face of a kitten who intends to blend in. That is the face of a woman who has been waiting her ENTIRE LIFE for Lorne Michaels to notice her talent.

Molly does everything with her whole body.

Walking across the room? Too subtle. She prefers to hurl herself toward a destination and deal with the landing when she gets there.

Jumping onto the cat tree? No measurement no hesitation, no structural assessment whatsoever. Just: “THIS FEELS RIGHT.”

Molly has extremely strong Mary Katherine Gallagher energy. And it is our absolute favorite thing about her!

Awkward? Yes. Intense? Absolutely.

Does she occasionally look like she is about to put both hands into her armpits and deliver a monologue to an auditorium that does not exist?

You can practically hear her announcing:

“I’m MOLLY SHANNON. I’m a KITTEN. I like to kick, stretch, and knock everything off the table and yell “LIVE FROM YEW YORK, IT’S SATURDAY NIGHT!” She may be staying up when all of our humans go to sleep and watching SNL. We have no official proof yet, but we’re working on it.

Molly is affectionate, hilarious, curious, and completely committed to whatever idea entered her head three seconds ago.
