Mia is 3 years old, 27 pounds, and has some very strong opinions about being excluded from activities she believes concern her.
For clarification, all activities concern her.
Going for a walk? Available.
Watching TV? She can assist.
Working from home? Congratulations on your new coworker.
Going to the bathroom alone? Mia is unclear why you’re suddenly keeping secrets.
Mia adores her people and bonds deeply. Her preferred arrangement is having her humans nearby, ideally within belly rub distance and available to periodically confirm that she remains extremely cute.
Other dogs? Unnecessary. Mia has reviewed the staffing requirements and believes one dog is plenty.
Because she loves so fiercely, being separated from her people can make her anxious. She needs someone who is home often, ideally works remotely, is retired, or simply has a lifestyle where she can be included. After a life with too much uncertainty, Mia would really like everyone to stop disappearing. She considers this a perfectly reasonable household policy.
She would also do best with kids 12+ who can understand when she needs a little reassurance and space.
Mia isn’t looking for everyone. She’s looking for her person.
Give her the security of knowing you’re staying, and you’ll get 27 pounds of scruffy devotion who will love you completely, follow you everywhere and almost certainly be waiting directly outside the bathroom door.
