If you’ve ever wanted a tiny best friend who insists on being included in everything, meet MIA. She has a long body, a confident strut, and very strong opinions about being left out. If you walk by her kennel without saying hello, she will absolutely let you know that this is unacceptable behavior. Mia adores people and is happiest when she’s right in the middle of whatever you’re doing, preferably getting belly rubs or being reminded how cute she is.
We’re not quite sure what Mia is mixed with, but whatever it is, it works. She’s got this scruffy, one of a kind charm that draws everyone in instantly. She does have a cherry eye, which just adds to her unique little look (and honestly, kind of makes her even more endearing).
She loves going for walks and has the most adorable strut. Mia can be a bit unsure around other dogs and tends to bark, but we’re still figuring out if that’s excitement, questionable communication skills, or her way of saying “I have thoughts.” Because she can get a little anxious at times, she’d likely do best in a home with kids 12+ who can respect her space. The rescue is loud and she is REALLY hoping to find a foster or forever home soon.
