Jeff Foxworthy has been studying a map of Rhode Island and has one question: WHO WAS IN CHARGE OF NAMING THESE ROADS?

Because we’re pretty sure the meeting went something like: “Eh… just put something on the sign.”

Which brings us to Rhode Island’s version of “Here’s Your Sign.”

Breakneck Hill Road. Sounds less like a destination and more like the emergency room report afterward.

Snake Hill Road. Absolutely not. That’s not a street. That’s a warning.

Stub Toe Lane. Someone definitely named that immediately after walking down it barefoot.

And then…

Purgatory Road. At this point Jeff has noticed a pattern. Snake. Stub your toe. Break your neck. Purgatory. Rhode Island really planned the whole itinerary.

Thankfully, Jeff is much sweeter than the roads he’s been reading about. This adorable little guy is ready for a forever home. Preferably at an address that doesn’t sound like a workplace injury.
