Jameson is a very good boy that has already lived through more than any puppy ever should. He and his sister, Helana, were found on the side of the road starving, emaciated, and in heartbreaking condition. Their skin and fur were a mess, their little bodies were exhausted, and Jameson was so shut down that he couldn’t even make eye contact with people.

At first, we even wondered if Jameson might be deaf. He would sleep so deeply that we sometimes couldnt wake him. Then it hit us: this may have been the first time in his life that he felt safe enough to truly rest. And, that realization broke us a little.

Now Jameson is learning that humans can be kind, hands can be gentle, and life can be really, really good. He can still be a little shy at first, but it does not take long to earn his trust. And once you do? Congratulations, you have unlocked one of the softest, sweetest, mushiest little souls on the planet.

Jameson is the kind of puppy who reminds you why rescue matters. He is tender, loving, resilient, and so ready for a family who will keep showing him that the world is not as scary as it once seemed. We are completely in love with him, and we cannot wait for him to find the forever family he has always deserved.

Jameson and Helana will not be adopted together. As much as we love their story, we want each of them to have the chance to grow, blossom, and become the center of their own families world.
