We have discovered something very important about Gilly. She does not believe in “your side of the couch.” She believes in our side of the couch.

We’ve tested several theories.

Maybe she just likes blankets. Incorrect.

Maybe she enjoys soft furniture. Also, incorrect.

After months of careful observation, we’ve reached the only logical conclusion: Gilly’s favorite place in the entire world is approximately six inches from her favorite people. Closer, if possible.

She doesn’t simply want to spend time with her people.

She would like to become a tasteful accessory.

She is a very affectionate second shadow.

If you stand up, she stands up.

If you move rooms, she’s already on her way.

If you sigh dramatically after a long day she’s there checking on you before you’ve finished exhaling.

Unfortunately, life wasn’t especially kind to Gilly in the beginning, so she’s still learning that the world is full of good people.

She’ll need an experienced family willing to give her patience, structure, and the reassurance she’s always deserved.

The beautiful part is that once Gilly trusts you, she trusts you with her whole heart.

It’s the kind of loyalty you can’t teach. It must be earned.

And once you’ve earned it: Congratulations.

You now have a permanent assistant.

Current responsibilities for his adopters include supervising laundry, monitoring couch activities, accompanying you to the kitchen for quality control inspections, and ensuring you never experience solitude again.
