Calvin has been working with his foster mom to get him ready for his forever home. She suggests a dog savvy family that will continue his training and his ideal home would not have children under 12. A fully fenced in yard would be a plus so he can play and explore safely. We want Calvin to become the best version of himself and live the life he deserves.Β
He is a good boy with enough energy to power an entire playgroup. His tail seems to have only two speeds, fast and faster. His past includes being hit by a car in October and suffering a severe pelvic fracture, which required months of strict cage rest. He handled it with patience and with the help of a very good vet, and time. Now that heβs fully recovered, play is absolutely his love language. He enjoys romping with other energetic dogs and matches their enthusiasm happily. More mature or low key dogs may find him a bit much, but for dogs who like to run, wrestle, and have fun, Calvin might be your guy.
