We were going to write something enthusiastic about Aubrey but she asked us not to. She finds enthusiasm… exhausting.

This kitten already has the expression of someone who has worked in municipal government for 30 years and is absolutely not staying late because you forgot your paperwork.

She doesn’t beg for attention. She doesn’t perform. She would actually prefer if you spent a few minutes wondering whether she likes you.

She probably does but don’t ask.

Aubrey has major April Ludgate energy. She’ll quietly follow her favorite person from room to room, nap nearby, and always be close.

But the second you say, “Aww, do you love me?”

She’s gone. You got greedy.

Aubrey is very ready for a home that understands her favorite way of saying “I love you” is pretending she doesn’t.
