It took us awhile to write Athena’s bio because we had so many great things to say about her. Between her squishy face, loving personality, and heart breaking backstory we truly can’t explain what an amazing dog she is. We think that Athena spent most of her life tied up outside watching the world from the end of a chain and waiting for someone to notice her. Despite all that she has been through, she is still open to love and companionship. She has no resentment and she just simply wants to feel safe, loved, and included. She proudly carries her squeaky toys, does well with other dogs, and keeps a hopeful eye on you in case it means she gets to tag along.
