Arnold is a big hearted boy with the soul of a retired gentleman and the body of a small horse. At 106 pounds, he’s bringing presence but don’t let the size fool you, this dog is all soft edges and slow blinks. Arnold lives for the simple things: a sunny patch of grass, a good sniff (or 400), and the quiet satisfaction of existing near his people. He’s wonderfully easygoing and is the kind of dog who makes your home feel calmer just by being in it. He is like a weighted blanket with ears.
Arnold a social guy too. Great with other dogs, respectful with cats, and polite enough to keep his kennel spotless because, frankly, Arnold considers himself a proper gentleman. He prefers his bathroom breaks outdoors like the refined soul he is. He’s currently working on leash manners and learning that not every smell requires a full investigative documentary, but he’s making steady progress. With a little patience (and maybe letting him read a few scent based novels along the way), Arnold is going to be an incredible walking companion. If you’re looking for a loyal, low key, slightly drooly best friend who doubles as home décor, Arnold is your guy!
