ADDIE HAS SOME THOUGHTS ABOUT HOW YOU’RE RUNNING THINGS.
Addie is very smart, very funny, and operating at a level of intelligence that occasionally makes us uncomfortable.
She plays beautifully in our dog playgroups with dogs of all sizes and has appointed herself Social Coordinator of the yard. She runs. She wrestles. She organizes. She networks. We assume there are quarterly performance reviews.
She is also our resident Pool Queen.
Addie will launch herself into the kiddie pool, race around the yard soaking wet, and then come directly to you because apparently swimming is a group activity and you foolishly arrived wearing dry clothing.
Addie is playful, athletic, affectionate, and absolutely adorable, but she is not a starter dog. She is more of a you’ve had dogs before and understand negotiations may occur kind of girl.
Without structure, Addie may eventually reorganize your household, change the WiFi password, and have you submitting a written request to use your own couch.
What makes her especially wonderful, though, is how deeply she connects with her people. Addie doesn’t just look at you. She looks into you.
Within several seconds she knows your junk food of choice, your most questionable ex, and why you told everyone you couldn’t make it Saturday.
Addie loves women and happily seeks out the ladies. She is more hesitant around men and needs patience and a gentle approach while she gets comfortable. Little ones can make her nervous, so she is looking for an adult only home.
For an experienced person willing to give her structure, clear boundaries, patience, and lots of love, Addie is going to be an incredible companion.
Loyal. Hilarious. Deeply connected. And just bossy enough to keep management interesting.
