Lyra is a stunning puppy with an enormous personality, an even bigger brain, and enough confidence to keep everyone around her on their toes. Yesterday, Lyra discovered the puppy pool. Within minutes she had recruited several other puppies, declared herself activities director, and turned an innocent afternoon into a pool party.
Then she peed in the pool. Party over.
This tiny girl is hilarious, confident and scary smart. Think Jurassic Park raptors testing the fences. Lyra is always watching, learning and figuring out what she can get away with next.
And that enormous little brain is important for her future family to understand. Lyra needs more than a backyard and a few toys. She needs training, adventures, enrichment, exercise and people who genuinely enjoy having a dog who wants to DO THINGS. Otherwise, we give her approximately three unsupervised afternoons before she learns to open the refrigerator. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!
Because of her natural herding tendencies, confidence and energy, Lyra requires a fenced in yard and a home without children under 10.
So, if you have a secure yard and want a hilarious, wicked smart little firecracker who will keep you laughing, and has questionable pool etiquette, Lyra is the girl for you. Apply before we get absolutely flooded with applications because, quite frankly, that face is almost too much to handle.
