If you’ve ever wanted a best friend who believes togetherness should be taken extremely literally, meet MIA.

Mia has an adorable little strut and some very strong opinions about being excluded from activities that she believes concern her.

For clarification, all activities concern her.

Going for a walk? Mia is available.

Watching TV? She can assist.

Working from home? Congratulations on your new coworker.

Going to the bathroom alone? Mia is unclear why you would even suggest such a thing.

Mia absolutely adores her people and forms very strong bonds with them. She is happiest when she knows her humans are nearby, preferably within belly rubbing distance and available for regular reminders that she is, in fact, extremely cute. She isn’t a big fan of other dogs and would prefer a home without them.

Because Mia loves her people so deeply, being separated from them can make her anxious. Her perfect match would be someone who is home often, works from home, is retired, has a household where people come and go throughout the day, or simply lives a lifestyle where Mia can be included in much of the action.

Basically, Mia isn’t asking for constant entertainment. She would just really prefer that her favorite people stop disappearing.

Honestly, after a life of uncertainty she thinks this is a very reasonable policy.

We’re not quite sure what Mia is mixed with, but whatever combination created her deserves some recognition. She has scruffy, one of a kind charm and a face that makes it extremely difficult to tell her no.

Because she can be anxious and appreciates people who understand when she needs a little reassurance, we think Mia would be happiest in a home with kids 12+ who can respect her space.

Mia isn’t looking for just anyone. She’s looking for her person.

Someone who likes having a little shadow. Someone whose lifestyle has room for a dog who wants to be genuinely included. Someone who understands that underneath all of Mia’s opinions, enthusiasm and occasional worries is a dog who simply feels safest when she knows her people aren’t going anywhere.
