GUS

Gus is only 10 months old and operates with the confidence of a dog who has never once questioned whether he belongs in charge.
He has a trot. Not a walk. The kind of trot that makes it look like he is late to a meeting he scheduled.
Gus moves through the world like he owns a small but successful company, has excellent credit, and is mildly concerned that the rest of us are not keeping up.
With that gorgeous gray coat, he easily gets away with it.
Gus is ridiculously cute and appears to know exactly how much visual leverage he has. He will stroll past you looking polished, composed, and important, then do something completely puppy like that reminds you he is still very much a baby with a developing brain and several questionable ideas.
He is also smart. Very smart. Which means Gus is not looking for a home where his entire enrichment plan is β€œhere is a ball, good luck.”
A clever young dog needs things to do. Training, games, walks, problem solving, and routine.
A family that understands that if you do not give a smart dog a job, he may create one himself.
And Gus absolutely looks like the kind of employee who would restructure the entire household without first consulting management.
He has wonderful energy, a hilarious little strut, and the kind of presence that makes you smile just watching him move around.
Gus is looking for people who want more than just a cute dog. He wants a family who will enjoy his brain, keep him engaged, help him keep learning, and appreciate the fact that every day with him is probably going to include at least one moment where you look at each other and say: β€œDid he seriously just figure that out?” Yes. He probably did. And then he trotted away like it was obvious.
If you are looking for a gorgeous, funny, confident, highly trainable young dog with CEO energy in a puppy body, Gus is your guy.
