Meet handsome Trout. We were told Trout was on the shy side in the South and listen, maybe he was. But apparently no one told him he was moving to Rhode Island because when this guy touched snow for the first time it was like Christmas morning. He loves EVERYTHING about it and his joy will definitely make Winter more enjoyable for his new family. Since arriving, Trout has been warming up quickly, leaning in for affection, exploring his new surroundings, and absolutely thriving in Winter wonderland mode. He’s still a sensitive soul but once he feels safe his amazing personality takes center stage.
Trout would likely do best in a home with another dog. A canine friend to show him the ropes and work on his confidence would be great for him.
We are legally required to warn anyone with a heart issue that he can definitely cause palpitations. The face. The expressions. The “I’m shy but also ridiculously good looking” energy. It’s a lot. We’re struggling, too. So, apply to adopt him before another very lucky does.
