We need to talk about Arthur. We are starting to realize that he might actually be too smart to be a dog. It’s honestly shocking. He is very smart, thoughtful, and spends a lot of time observing the world like he’s working something out in his head. When you look at him, you can practically see the gears turning. Is he calculating snack trajectories? Designing a new form of physics? Finishing a doctoral thesis on Advanced Treat Acquisition? We can’t be sure. What we DO know is that Arthur has a calm and gentle presence that makes people stop in their tracks. There’s just something about him.
A few months ago, Arthur had a leg injury that required rest and recovery time. He handled it like a true scholar: patiently, quietly, and with the dignity of someone who clearly had important thinking to do with his down time anyway. He’s since healed beautifully and is ready to move on to the next chapter of his life. We can’t promise he’ll solve calculus, but we’re pretty sure he’s thinking about it. He gets along well with other dogs, is up to date on vaccinations, and has been neutered.
