She is a 4 year old, female, Beagle mixed breed. Penny came from an unfortunate situation and was days away from being euthanized. She is slowly learning that the world can be a kind and safe place. She’s a bit shy at first, but with patience and a soft voice, she quickly shows how sweet and affectionate she can be. Once she feels comfortable, Penny’s personality shines through — she loves gentle pets, calm companionship, and the security of being near someone she trusts. She’s an incredibly lovely pup — the kind of dog who will quietly follow you from room to room just to be close.

Penny would do best in a peaceful home with patient adopters who can give her time to adjust at her own pace. Another friendly, confident dog might help her feel even more secure. This resilient girl is very ready for her second chance at happiness. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.
