Rosemary is STILL waiting for a forever home. She turned 1 on 5/15 and she is a Lab mixed breed. She has been thriving in her foster home. She has become much more confident, has learned several new commands, has mastered potty training, and has even started to approach new people on her own. Fostering really saves & CHANGES lives! She would love a home with another dog (pending a successful meet and greet) and has had no issues with living with cats. She requires a home without children with a fully fenced in back yard so she can explore and play safely. Once she feels safe, she will shower you with tail wags, sloppy kisses, and her favorite thing of all—snuggles. She is very sweet and loves to play. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. Rosemary just needs someone willing to take a chance on her, give her a little patience, and to continue to teach her. Come and meet her during adoption hours. She will be the best choice you’ll ever make.

BLONDIE
Meet Blondie. She just turned 1 and we were heartbroken that we couldn’t give her the only gift she asked for: a forever home. She should be celebrating milestones surrounded by a loving family, but instead, she spent it in a kennel. Our staff is absolutely amazing and our volunteer team gets her out for long walks and play time but the rescue is not a home. Blondie is a gorgeous, female, Lab mix. She is happiest anytime she’s running in the yard or soaking up affection from people she trusts. An active household would be perfect for her fun puppy energy. She is also a big fan of long naps and a good cuddle session. She gets along well with other dogs (pending a successful meet and greet) but has not been cat tested yet. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed.
GOOSE
Meet Goose. Can you imagine waking up to this face everyday? That can be your reality if you come in to meet him & apply. He is a 9 month old, male, English Pointer mixed breed. He is extremely sweet, likes everyone he meets, and is not cut out for rescue life. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
HUGO
Hugo is doing his best to hang in there while he waits for a foster or forever home. He needs a hero and he really needs it fast! Please read the entire post to understand his situation: If you have been following us you know that Hugo is one of the longest residents we have EVER had and has waited over a YEAR for the right forever home. Hugo was born on 8/7/20 and is a large mixed breed. He needs a VERY particular adopter. He is looking for a single female home only. Unfortunately, he cannot under any circumstance be placed in a home with men (he has been ok with men in passing and did well at a Santa photoshoot). The reason we are requiring a single female home is because Hugo has had issues bonding with one human instead of both. We are trying to remove ANY issue possible to keep Hugo from being returned again. We think this is unfortunately a non-negotiable for him. He also requires a home without other animals or children. We realize that such a specific home is way harder to come by and that is why we are begging for help networking him so the right person hopefully sees his plea for help. With all that said, Hugo is really a good dog who just needs to find the right person for him. Our team is 90% female and everyone that knows or has worked with Hugo here adores him. Going on adventures is one of his favorite things—long walks, car rides, and exploring new & quiet places make him the happiest. He does well on a leash and is a very smart dog. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations and has been neutered.
SAGE
Sage can't wait to find a forever home! She will be 1 on May 15th and she is a very smart, female, Lab mixed breed. She was lucky enough to find an amazing foster home where she is getting the chance to decompress and has been working on her confidence. *Please note: Sage is only on site Saturday’s 10am-2pm.* Although she is very timid initially, her foster mom raves about what a silly, sweet, and affectionate dog she is. She has been learning basic commands, has already mastered crate training, and has not had a single accident. She loves other dogs and her ideal home would absolutely have fur siblings for her to play with. Sage will thrive in an active home where she can get her daily zoomies out and play fetch. A fully fenced in yard is highly recommended. She is up to date on vaccinations and is SO ready to begin the next chapter of her life. If you’re willing to invest a little time to gain her trust, she will reward you with endless love.
