Well, Parker & Porter’s forever home didn’t work out and they are back at the rescue. We were hoping that 2025 would be their year but it’s off to a rough start. We feel defeated and heartbroken because they are going back in cages. Parker and Porter are bonded brothers (as you can see by looking at most of their photos) and they are ideally looking for a foster or forever home together. We are opening up the option of them being adopted separately if it helps them find homes faster. This is not a decision we are thrilled about or that we made lightly. Please understand that we always have the best interest of all of our animals in mind when making decisions about their future.
Parker and Porter are 7 years old and are a Hound mixed breed. They both do well on a leash and love to explore. They need a little time to warm up to new people but it’s nothing a few treats can’t fix. They are looking for a forever home without other animals or children under 12. They just need someone willing to give them a chance. They are going to be SO worth the time & effort to gain their trust. They are up to date on vaccinations and have been neutered.
