We truly can’t say enough good things about this dog. She was born on 4/17/23 and is a Pit Bull mixed breed. She is EXTREMELY smart and has mastered potty training. She has so much to offer and SO MUCH love to give. Unfortunately, she is very nervous around new people and needs time to warm up to strangers. She definitely prefers women but we are actively working on exposing her to men. She is very slowly coming around to her foster dad (treats have been a big motivator) but her ideal home would be mostly/all women. She would also benefit from having a family without children because loud noises and sudden movement really scare her. We know these requirements may cause her to have a longer rescue stay so we REALLY need all hands on deck. She will need adopters that will understand she needs some time to settle in and come out of her shell. She is VERY worth the wait, though! When she feels safe around you her personality starts to shine. She LOVES to cuddle (she has to be touching you if it’s possible) and is extremely affectionate. She has finally started to enjoy playing with her toys and her foster parents are teaching her new things every day. She has not been cat tested yet (we can absolutely do that on site for interested adopters) but does like other dogs (pending successful meet and greet). She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. PLEASE CONSIDER GIVING MIRANDA THE HAPPY ENDING SHE DESERVES!
