Meet Mira. DOB: 4/17/23. Breed: Pit Bull mix. Requirements: A home with women only and without children under 12. Mira’s family has made the very difficult decision to re-home her, and while we understand that situations like this can be emotional, we will not tolerate negativity or judgment. They have spent the past year giving her time to adjust, but despite their best efforts, she continues to struggle with fear of men, particularly the father in the home. This has created a stressful environment for everyone involved, and finding her the right home is the most compassionate choice for her Mira.  Mira LOVES women and when she feels safe she is extremely affectionate. With patience and understanding, she will form a strong bond and become a deeply loyal companion. She loves to play but loves hanging on the couch just as much. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. If you are a fit and can provide her with the stability she needs, please consider giving her a chance.

Blondie just turned 1 and while we celebrated her milestone with a lot of love, we couldn’t give her the one thing she truly wanted: a forever home. Please stop in to meet her during adoption hours and apply to change her life.  This sweet Lab mix should be starting her 2nd year surrounded by family, not spending her days in a kennel. While our amazing staff and volunteers make sure she gets plenty of walks, playtime, and affection, it’s no substitute for a REAL home. Blondie is full of life — she loves to run in the yard, soak up attention, and lean into every cuddle she can get. She would thrive in an active home that matches her playful, puppy-like energy, but she’s just as content curling up for a long nap. She gets along well with other dogs (with a proper meet and greet) and is up to date on vaccinations and spayed. Let’s make sure her next birthday is spent right where she belongs — with her forever family. 

Meet Beso. He is a new to our pack and is a happy guy looking for a foster or forever home. He was born on 4/16/23 and is a mixed breed. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.

Daphne is a VERY good girl that is dreaming of her forever home. She has spent far too long waiting for someone to see how special she is. She was born on 1/21/21 and is a Lab mix. A cozy spot on the couch, daily walks, and the chance to simply be by your side is all that she has ever wanted. She does well on a leash and will never pass up the chance to stop and smell the flowers. She will absolutely remind you to slow down and see the beauty in the little things. She is up to date on vaccinations and is very ready to start the next chapter of her life. Come meet her, look into her eyes, and you will understand exactly why we’re rooting for her.
